I’d like to take a moment of your time to introduce myself: My name is Jim Traetow, and I am excited to announce that I’m the new Commercial Sales Account Manager at Kibble Equipment, working with Ag Retail Businesses throughout Southeastern Minnesota. If I haven’t met you yet, I look forward to meeting you in the very near future.
I have been rooted in agriculture my entire life. I grew up on a farm in South Central Minnesota where my passion for agriculture began. I know your business very well. I have been working in the Ag Input Retail Business for 16 years. I have been involved with all operational aspects of running an Ag Input Business: beginning as a custom applicator, with many years and acres experience operating sprayers, floaters, applying anhydrous ammonia, as well as in season nitrogen applications. Along with equipment know-how, I was a sales agronomist for over 10 years. My last position before coming to Kibble Equipment was a Location Manager at an Ag Retail Business.
Over the course of the last 10 years I have been a customer of Kibble Equipment’s Commercial Business. I’ve had nothing but great experiences from a group that knows how to take care of their customers. Ultimately, this is what drove me to want to be part of this great team. It gives me great pleasure to be working with Mike Stori (Store Manager), Andy Jewison (Service Manager), Jae Trahms and Chris Reiter (Sprayer Service Techs). We, as team, know what it takes to keep your operation running smoothly and efficiently.
When I look back at how the Ag Retail business has changed over the past decade, the biggest change I see is how your customers want to do business and their expectations of you. Timeliness is becoming more and more critical, growers are moving faster, regulations are getting tighter, and weather is always at your back. We are here to support you and be one of your greatest partners to succeed in the marketplace.
I will be out to visit soon, but if you need anything now please feel free to call my cell at 507-848-0499.
Thank you for your business, I look forward to working with you.
